MEET OUR CAMPUS PASTOR

Zach Samz

Zach Samz serves as the Campus Pastor for the Sheboygan Campus. His primary responsibilities include caring for people, overseeing Life Groups, providing leadership for the Sheboygan campus, and occasionally preaching. Zach has a deep passion for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and believes it is the power of God that brings both eternal salvation and real transformation in everyday life.

His own story shapes that passion. Zach was born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. After graduating from high school, he served five years on active duty in the United States Army. That season of life was formative, shaping his discipline, perspective, and understanding of service. Shortly after completing his military service, the Lord graciously took hold of his heart, and Zach fully surrendered his life to Christ, marking the beginning of a growing love for Christ, His Word, and His Church.

Following his time in the Army, Zach earned his undergraduate degree from Lakeland University. During that season, he met his wife, Karena, through a young adult Bible study. They have been married for six years and currently live in Oostburg, Wisconsin. Their family includes one daughter in heaven, Evelyn Joy, and they enjoy life with their two dogs, Thor, a goldendoodle, and Murphy, a mini-bernedoodle.

Zach is currently pursuing theological education at Dallas Theological Seminary and plans to graduate in December 2026 with a Master’s in Christian Education. He has a deep love for God’s Word and a strong conviction that the local church is God’s primary means for discipleship and spiritual growth. He desires to faithfully serve Christ and His people through sound teaching, intentional discipleship, and a life shaped by the gospel.
